Visitor Visas for South Africa
The maximum duration of a visit visa for visitors to South Africa is 3 months. If a longer stay is required the applicant must apply in advance abroad or he can extend the visitors permit locally, confirming the purpose of stay. There is only one extension of a South African visit visa allowed per applicant.A valid return air ticket, proof of sufficient financial means, the application fee and/or a deposit must accompany an application for extension.
