David Cameron to relax immigration cap

The Prime Minister is understood to have been influenced by business concerns that the cap introduced after the election is preventing highly-skilled people from coming to this country and thus damaging British business and the economy.

‘New’ Entrepreneur Visa to be introduced

Prime Minister David Cameron has said that Britain will introduce a new category of visa – Entrepreneur Visa – to encourage foreign nationals to the UK, although it was not made clear how this new “Entrepreneur Visa” would differ from the existing “Tier 1 Entrepreneur Visa”, which replaced the previous “Entrepreneur Visa”.

Immigration cap reached – no more Tier 1 visas until November
